Solutions Sales Manager
Nederman is a global industry leader focused on protecting people, the planet, and production from harmful effects of industrial processes. The Solutions Sales Manager will execute business strategy to achieve sales goals for Configured Solutions, working closely with dealers and end-users to identify opportunities and close sales.

Responsibilities
Follow up and develop leads, identify profitable opportunities, and successfully manage sales process to close. (Estimated Time Allocation: 80%)Proactively network and partner with existing Dealers, and industry contacts to identify new opportunities
Mine relationships and meet with end-users to determine their specific requirements
Work with Technical Team to build solution concepts and prepare creative and effective proposals
Present solution concept and close sales process at a success rate of over 30%
Consistently meet monthly sales goals through proper preparation and execution of a sales activity plan. Work leads & opportunities through CRM
Monitor progress toward sales objectives and submit bi-weekly sales report with a monthly sales forecasts
Maintain project pipeline, quote log, and customer contact information in CRM
Ensure compliance with corporate and department policies on risk management
Promote and Market Nederman Brand and Technology in Region 4 Territory. (Estimated Time Allocation: 10%)Prospect and develop new sales opportunities by networking with key industry contacts increasing brand awareness. Assist in development of annual marketing and key customer Business Plans
Participate in annual trade shows nationally and regionally as applicable
Act as the technology expert in regard to industry dynamics, distribution channels, manufacturing processes and application of Nederman solutions within the targeted industries
Profitably manage key accounts to build stronger relationships and successfully secure future business. Liaise closely with these key accounts to ensure existing installations are meeting their expectations
Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to grow the business with a team approach
Play key role in the Configured Solutions Team. (Estimated Time Allocation: 10%)Collaborate with VP Sales in the creation of Annual, Monthly Sales Budgets, and Activity Plans
Work with other team members to implement local and global strategies. Routinely provide reports and feedback to management on sales forecast, activity levels and competitive landscape within the targeted industries. Within this report, provide recommendations on how to alter the business strategy and technology offering to increase sales and market presence
Participate in weekly team meeting and provide current progress reports and adjusted sales forecasts for month and year
Take ownership of entire sales process to ensure overall profitability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Business Degree required
Three to five years of experience selling technical solutions in the industrial space
Experience selling in metal working, wood manufacturing, or food packaging industries
Excellent presentation, selling, and closing skills
Ability to achieve short-term goals in line with longer term global vision
Thorough understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements in Core Markets
Strong leadership qualities with good communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to work with in a team of professionals
Intermediate computer skills with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Quote Tools, and CRM
Expert knowledge in the sales process of capital equipment and technical solutions
Willingness to learn new technology and accept personal responsibility for own development and performance
General knowledge of industrial ventilation design on standard air applications
General knowledge of legal requirements for business contracts
Must be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Ability to travel domestically: 50% to 70% of Working Days
