Senior Attorney Legal and Regulatory Affairs
Oklahoma Hospital Association is seeking a Senior Attorney Legal and Regulatory Affairs to assist the Chief Legal Officer with managing legal, corporate compliance, and contracting functions. The role involves providing comprehensive legal advice, conducting legal research, and supporting policy development related to healthcare law.

Responsibilities
Review, draft and negotiate contracts, as necessary
Maintain contracts database
Conduct legal research, as necessary
Assist with the development of policies and procedures
Assist with state and federal policy review and analysis
Provide education and support on state and federal legal matters, including regulatory and policy changes
Provide education and support to the Board and other OHA committees, as needed
Provide training presentations from time-to-time on legal issues that pertain to OHA members
Ensure deliverable and performance metrics are met
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Education: Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA-accredited institution required
At least 3-5 years' experience in general corporate law and/or healthcare law with contracting experience
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint or similar software) is required
Strong personal and professional integrity, principles and knowledge, earning respect and support when making difficult decisions and choices
Strong customer service orientation, be self-motivated, organized, a team player and work well in high-energy, fast-paced environment
This position will require handling confidential matters, good judgment and discretion are necessary, as well as a working knowledge or applicable principles to protect confidentiality
Strong communication skills are required
Preferred
A strong academic background and working knowledge of federal and state healthcare laws
