One Degree Agriculture is seeking a relationship-driven leader to manage their strategic expansion within the insurance and agribusiness sectors. This inaugural position focuses on designing a strategic blueprint for market reach and client networks, bridging the gap between insurance stakeholders and industrial facilities.

Responsibilities
Cultivate and sustain high-level relationships with specialized insurance adjusters, underwriters, and brokerage firms
Teach industry partners about the rapid response expertise and economic benefits of professional recovery services
Monitor regional loss patterns and local incident reports to proactively identify emerging project needs
Participate in relevant trade gatherings and sector-specific conferences to maintain a visible presence in the insurance market
Initiate dialogues with operational leadership at major crushing plants, storage elevators, and processing centers
Deliver technical presentations and walk through facility sites to assess potential risk areas
Direct the digital narrative by coordinating with external vendors on website updates and social media outreach
Assist in crafting professional sales materials and gathering intelligence on broader market trends
Qualification
Required
Proven track record in agribusiness insurance, property claims, or industrial sales
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to navigate both corporate boardrooms and industrial plant floors
Comprehensive understanding of the lifecycle of insurance claims and the role of remediation vendors
Self-motivated professional capable of managing a large geographic territory and a complex sales cycle
Ability to travel frequently throughout the Midwest, estimated at 25-50%, to visit clients and project sites
Strong networking abilities with a focus on building long-term, trust-based professional partnerships
