Electrical Engineer
Driver Industrial Safety is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support new product development and existing products. The role involves hands-on electrical engineering, prototyping, documentation, and manufacturing support, requiring a practical and solutions-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities
Strong electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing skills to ensure product design meets customer requirements
Ability and knowledge to rapid prototype new product ideas i.e. (design, build, and test mechanical/electronic assemblies/PCBs etc.)
Record, review, and report test results clearly & concisely
Create manufacturing process documentation for fabrication sequence, assembly sequence and work instructions
Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) for new and existing products
Ensure validity of Bill of Materials (BOM) for internal and external use
Runs specialized production machines, processes, procedures, and programs as needed
Analyze blueprints and / or models to determine tools, fixtures and equipment needed for manufacturing, and sequence of operations
Train production operators when necessary
Provide technical assistance, process development and engineering support to the manufacturing floor to ensure timely delivery of product while meeting customer expectations on cost and quality
Supports safety policies and procedures
Supports company policies and procedures
Additional duties and responsibilities as required or assigned
Represent company in a positive manner
Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Strong technical background of electronics (4 years of experience)
PCB design and familiarity using Altium Circuit Studio or similar PCB design-suite (2 years of experience)
3D CAD modeling using SolidWorks or similar CAD software (2 years of experience)
Microsoft Office Programs (2 year of experience)
Fine-pitch soldering (2 years of experience)
Strong electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing skills to ensure product design meets customer requirements
