Responsibilities
Managing commercial real estate projects from concept through completion
Coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and local authorities
Overseeing construction of commercial buildings and development of commercial land
Managing adaptive reuse and repurposing of existing properties
Leading tenant buildouts for newly leased spaces
Developing and tracking budgets, schedules, and scopes of work
Visiting job sites as needed to monitor progress, quality, and safety
Identifying issues early and driving practical, cost-effective solutions
Providing clear, regular updates directly to company owners
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution
Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, ideally in the commercial real estate field
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with minimal bureaucracy
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
Clear communicator who can work effectively with both field teams and ownership
Willing to travel periodically in the Southeast
Preferred
General Contractor's license is not required, but is a plus
