Sales Development Representative

InnoVint is seeking its first Sales Development Representative to help build a proactive outreach strategy for connecting with wineries. The role involves using data-driven prospecting methods, engaging with potential clients through various channels, and collaborating with Marketing and Sales to generate pipeline and document best practices.

Responsibilities

Prospect into target winery accounts using thoughtful, personalized outreach powered by data, segmentation, and AI tools
Create and customize outbound sequences to reach winery owners, GMs, winemakers, operations, and finance leaders
Engage prospects across channels including email, LinkedIn, social selling, and cold calling
Test creative prospecting ideas such as warm intros, events, gifting, and tailored messaging
Confidently handle objections and questions over email and phone
Book first meetings directly onto Account Executive calendars
Partner closely with Marketing on campaigns and events to generate pipeline
Track activity and results in HubSpot to improve targeting, messaging, and conversion rates
Help build and document the SDR playbook by capturing what works, what doesn’t, and why
Share feedback with Sales and Marketing on messaging, personas, segments, and objections

Required

Grit and resilience. You're comfortable with outbound outreach, rejection, and learning through iteration
Exceptional communication skills. You write and speak in a way that's thoughtful, concise, and human
You connect easily with people. You're curious, friendly, and comfortable starting conversations with someone new
Tech savviness. You're comfortable working in tools like HubSpot and ChatGPT and can pick up new software quickly
You have experience in sales development, marketing, or growth roles
You take ownership, move quickly, and hold yourself accountable for results
Energy and ambition. You want to help build something from the ground up and be part of a growing team

Preferred

Direct SDR experience is a plus but not required
Passion and interest in the wine industry and learning how wineries operate (industry experience not required)
