Business Development Specialist - NBR
Zeon Chemicals is a leading developer and supplier of innovative polymers and specialty chemicals. They are seeking a Business Development Specialist to manage the Specialty NBR product segment, drive growth, and represent the company at industry events while collaborating cross-functionally.

Responsibilities
Work closely with and under the direction of the Business Manager – NBR to execute growth strategies
Manage marketing and product initiatives for a subset of NBR materials
Represent the commercial team in quality investigations and subsequent corrective action implementation
Through collaboration with the sales team, develop pricing strategies for the Specialty segment
Lead negotiations and business development efforts for key accounts in targeted growth areas
Lead close technical collaboration with key external and internal and stakeholders to drive growth
Represent ZEON at trade shows and industry events to promote products and generate leads
Support innovation projects through the Stage-Gate process and drive progress on new product development
Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify strategic growth opportunities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Business with experience in related field
Previous customer facing interaction is required
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to follow up effectively
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment
Excellent time management with the ability to set and manage competing priorities
Preferred
3+ years of experience in chemical trading or industrial chemical sales preferred
Salesforce or CRM experience is desirable
