Responsibilities

Supporting the quality and reliability of software solutions built with C# and ASP.NET

Contributing to defect identification, prevention, and continuous improvement

Designing, writing, and executing test cases with a strong emphasis on Test-Driven Development (TDD)

Helping ensure features are testable, well-defined, and meet functional and quality expectations

Providing hands-on exposure to both manual and automated testing

Assisting in building and maintaining automated tests

Contributing to simple custom test utilities under guidance

Collaborating with team members to track, verify, and retest defect fixes

Supporting releases and upgrades

Participating in meetings with internal stakeholders or customers to discuss quality findings, testing approaches, or system behavior

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience

2-4 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related role

Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices

Hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) or strong exposure in a professional or academic setting

Working knowledge of C# and the .NET framework with the ability to assist in development

Experience with SQL Server and basic database testing

Exposure to or hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools

Familiarity with web application testing concepts

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment

Interest in learning domain-specific systems such as DISA Circuit management processes and tools

Active DoD Secret clearance

Preferred

Exposure to DISA Circuit management processes, databases, or related IT systems

IIS knowledge is a plus but not required
