Rapid Precision Manufacturing is seeking a Precision CNC Setup Specialist to transform detailed prints into production-ready parts. In this role, you will own the machine setup process, ensure quality standards are met, and collaborate with engineering and production to optimize processes.

Responsibilities

Prepare, set up, and calibrate CNC machines to launch production runs
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications before each job
Continuously monitor operations to uphold quality and throughput
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
Collaborate with engineering and production to optimize processes
Document production details, including machine settings and results
Maintain a safe, tidy, and compliant work environment

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years of experience as a CNC machinist or setup technician
Deep understanding of CNC processes, tooling, and setup best practices
Fluency in reading technical documents and blueprints
Competence with precision measuring tools and gauges
Excellent troubleshooting, accuracy, and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach

Preferred

machining-related technical training is a plus
