Business Development Representative
Rockwater Associates is a national professional services firm specializing in Tax, Accounting, and Payroll. As a Business Development Representative, you will drive the growth of tax services through proactive outreach to potential clients, learning about the company's solutions and building rapport with prospects to identify opportunities for service engagement.

Gain deep knowledge of Rockwater’s solutions, including our target audience and service offerings, to confidently introduce our company to new prospects
Reach out to potential clients through calling (250+ dials per day), building rapport and identifying opportunities where our services can make a difference
Understand the needs of prospects and pre-qualify them to determine if they could benefit from our services, transferring qualified leads to an Account Executive for further engagement
Work closely with your manager and the sales team to meet objectives and continually improve your approach through feedback and ongoing training
Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly goals, contributing directly to the success of the business
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
This position is required to have a set schedule to match the entire sales team hours
Enthusiastic about making outbound calls and building customer relationships
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
Receptiveness to evaluation, coaching, constructive feedback, and on-going training and development
A positive attitude and a drive to succeed!
Tech savvy: CRM experience is a plus
Motivated and Eager to Learn
Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with prospective clients and convey information clearly; customer service skills, phone etiquette and active listening are crucial
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, supporting team goals and working with others to achieve success
Organized and Efficient: Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stay on top of your pipeline of leads
Reliable and Professional: We expect team members to meet daily goals on a set schedule and maintain a professional work environment
Language: English (Required)
Preferred
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or similar roles (sales experience is not required but is an asset)
Experience with Salesforce is a bonus
