Responsibilities
Be the go-to technical authority for measurement and control systems across the site
Troubleshooting gets serious, reliability is on the line, or a better long-term solution is needed
Balancing hands-on problem solving with leadership and guidance
Digging into complex I&C issues
Helping shape maintenance strategies that reduce downtime
Mentoring technicians so best practices actually stick
Planning, documentation, and continuous improvement
Ensure systems meet industry standards
Support audits and inspections
Keep equipment history and maintenance records clean and accurate
Collaborate closely with engineers, technicians, and procurement teams to improve equipment performance
Manage parts and inventory needs
Support smarter maintenance execution overall
Qualification
Required
15+ years of hands-on I&C experience, with deep exposure to measurement systems
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills; you're comfortable leading the tough ones
Advanced understanding of control systems architecture and field instrumentation
Experience coordinating maintenance work to minimize downtime and improve reliability
Comfort working with vendors and contracts, including interface and oversight
Ability (and willingness) to mentor technicians and guide best practices in the field
Preferred
Bachelor's or Associate degree in a relevant technical discipline preferred
Equivalent real-world experience absolutely counts
