Payroll Services Student Hourly

Center for Public Partnerships & Research is looking for a student hourly employee to work in their Payroll Services office. The role involves providing customer service, completing routine payroll tasks, and assisting payroll staff with administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly and professional customer service to staff, faculty, and student employees via phone, email, and in-person
Complete daily routine tasks:
Logging various payments and other metrics
Verifying, scanning, and uploading employee payroll documents to the document management system
Maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive employee information
Assist Payroll staff with other administrative tasks as needed

Required

Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), as demonstrated in application materials
Strong attention to detail as evidenced by application materials
During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours
For summer periods the student hourly must: (1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or (2) be pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or (3) be enrolled in summer session or (4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester
Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students

Strong verbal and written communication skills as evidenced by application materials
Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team as evidenced by application materials
