Responsibilities
Manage an efficient, transparent, white glove candidate experience that reflects the quality of our brand
Own full cycle recruiting for highly technical roles across electrical engineering, project delivery, field service, supply chain, and data center development
Build top-of-funnel pipelines for niche, hard-to-fill technical roles. Think MV/HV engineers, power systems experts, data center specialists, HPC wizards and electrical project leaders
Partner closely with hiring managers (engineering, sales, project delivery, supply chain, and data center delivery) to understand the role, ideal profiles, success markers, and hiring priorities
Source actively and intentionally. LinkedIn, niche boards, competitor mapping, referrals, outreach campaigns, market intelligence, and community engagement are in your wheelhouse
Conduct behavioral and technical screens that evaluate skills, experience, and cultural alignment with NGEN’s high-performance standards
Help us build out best practices and top-notch workflows inside our ATS (TeamTailor)
Track and report key recruiting metrics for visibility and proactive planning
Serve as an internal consultant on market compensation, competitor trends, and talent availability
Qualification
Required
You've spent 5+ years recruiting for highly technical roles in electrical engineering, data center infrastructure, power systems, utilities, manufacturing, or advanced hardware/energy companies, in electrical, energy, or mission-critical environments
You're a full cycle recruiter who can source, screen, manage processes, guide hiring managers, and close
You've worked in high-growth or startup environments where you're leading quick close recruitment processes while leading 5-7 open pipelines at one time
You excel at sourcing passive candidates in tight talent markets, especially talent coming from OEMs, EPCs, data centers, utilities, and industrial companies
You understand technical terminology. From switchgear to HV/MV equipment to power distribution to data center infrastructure, you can speak with candidates in their language and draw them in with compelling story-telling that they can get excited about
You have a track record of recruiting engineers, technicians, and technical leaders in North American
You're a pro with ATS systems, hiring analytics, and structured interview processes
You love finding the perfect candidate. You're proactive, persistent, and energized by finding talent others miss
You care deeply about candidate experience and believe recruitment is a reflection of the company's values
You communicate with clarity, warmth, and confidence. Candidates trust you and hiring managers rely on you
You're highly organized and thrive in fast-moving environments where priorities shift quickly
You operate with urgency, ownership, and follow through. Once you commit, you deliver
You're curious and technical enough to understand complex engineering roles and ask smart questions
