Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with organizational goals and reflects the unique local culture and activities of the state and the candidate

Plan, capture, edit, and produce daily, original content, including photos and videos, for Instagram, Facebook, and X

Write clear, engaging, and brand-consistent copy for all social media posts, campaign materials, and community interactions

Oversee day-to-day community management, including monitoring trends, responding to comments and messages, and actively engaging with our followers

Regularly travel to attend events, capture real-time moments, and gather visual assets

Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics, using data to inform and optimize future strategies

Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, platform updates, and technological advancements

Required

Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or a similar role

Outstanding writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
