Director of Performance & Growth Marketing
Method Recruiting is a profitable, growth-focused services company seeking a senior marketing leader for the role of Director of Performance & Growth Marketing. This position involves owning demand generation, managing performance marketing strategies, and collaborating with various departments to drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Paid media strategy and execution (Google, Meta, and performance-focused channels)
Organic and paid social strategy that supports demand, not just awareness
Messaging and positioning that resonates, lands, and drives action
SEO and conversion optimization focused on qualified leads
Measurement frameworks that connect marketing activity to revenue
Budget ownership, forecasting, and performance reviews
Cross-functional collaboration with sales leadership to improve lead quality and close rates
Participate in growth and strategic planning discussions
Bring insights, tradeoffs, and recommendations — not just reports
Translate data into decisions the leadership team can act on
Collaborate openly and productively across departments
Balance creativity with discipline and measurement
Build and scale PPC campaigns that generate calls and form fills?
Use social (paid and organic) as part of a demand engine — not just content?
Craft messaging that makes people •want• to buy, not just notice?
Test and refine creative based on performance, not opinion?
Audit a website and produce clear SEO and CRO action items?
Measure marketing beyond surface metrics (ROAS, CPL, pipeline, revenue)?
Explain what’s working — and what’s not — in plain language?
Work closely with sales without blame or defensiveness?
Make judgment calls with imperfect data?
Qualification
Required
Experience in performance marketing, messaging, social, and measurement
Ability to own demand generation end-to-end: paid media, social, SEO, messaging, and conversion
Experience with paid media strategy and execution (Google, Meta, and performance-focused channels)
Ability to develop organic and paid social strategy that supports demand
Experience in crafting messaging and positioning that resonates and drives action
Knowledge of SEO and conversion optimization focused on qualified leads
Ability to create measurement frameworks that connect marketing activity to revenue
Experience in budget ownership, forecasting, and performance reviews
Cross-functional collaboration experience with sales leadership to improve lead quality and close rates
Participation in growth and strategic planning discussions
Ability to bring insights, tradeoffs, and recommendations
Skill in translating data into actionable decisions for the leadership team
Experience in collaborating openly and productively across departments
Ability to balance creativity with discipline and measurement
Experience in building and scaling PPC campaigns that generate calls and form fills
Ability to use social (paid and organic) as part of a demand engine
