3+ years expFinancial Cents is a fast-growing accounting practice management software company. They are seeking a Social Media & Content Specialist to own and scale their social media presence while collaborating with editorial and video teams to enhance content reach and engagement.

Responsibilities
Own Financial Cents’ social media presence across key channels (primarily LinkedIn, with room to expand over time)
Develop a clear social media strategy aligned to brand voice, campaigns, and business goals
Create fun, creative, and thoughtful content that balances education, personality, and credibility
Plan and manage the social content calendar, ensuring consistency and high quality
Experiment with formats, hooks, and storytelling to improve engagement and reach
Support the Editorial Content Marketing Manager with blog writing and other content types as assigned
Help translate long-form editorial content into strong social narratives and threads
Ensure social content reinforces key editorial themes and points of view
Surface insights from social engagement to inform future editorial ideas
Work closely with the Video Content Manager to repurpose YouTube, webinars, and video hub content for social media
Turn long-form videos into short-form clips, highlights, quotes, and posts that perform on social
Help ensure our best video content gets maximum distribution and shelf life
Track and report on social performance, including engagement, growth, and contribution to awareness and pipeline influence
Share regular insights on what’s working, what’s not, and where we should double down
Continuously improve content based on data, feedback, and audience behavior
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in social media and content marketing roles
Proven experience owning social media execution end-to-end
Strong writing skills with an instinct for clarity, tone, and audience relevance
A creative eye for what makes content engaging and scroll-stopping
Comfortable collaborating with writers, video creators, and designers
Able to balance creativity with performance and measurement
Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple content streams at once
High standards: 'useful, thoughtful, and on-brand' is the baseline
Preferred
Experience in B2B SaaS or professional services is a plus, but not required
US-based or Canada-based candidates preferred
