TRC Talent Solutions is seeking an NDT Technician Level II for their client in Austell, GA. This role is critical in ensuring the structural integrity of flight-critical components through advanced non-destructive testing, performing inspections, interpreting results, and supporting compliance with Nadcap and FAA requirements.

Management Consulting

Responsibilities

Perform daily inspections using Fluorescent Penetrant (PT) and Magnetic Particle (MT) methods in accordance with NAS-410 and ASTM standards
Interpret and evaluate test results to determine acceptance or rejection of aerospace components based on customer specifications and blueprints
Set up and calibrate NDT equipment; perform process control checks to ensure accuracy
Accurately document inspection results in the company’s ERP/Quality system
Collaborate with the Quality Manager and Level III to develop or refine inspection techniques
Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment while adhering to all environmental and safety regulations

Qualification

Level II certification in PTMTNAS-410Experience in aerospace NDTASTM standardsShot peeningExperience in Nadcap facilityDigital RadiographyPassive 8 methods

Required

Documented Level II certification in PT and MT (Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant) required
High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of experience in a dedicated NDT role within the aerospace industry
Strong familiarity with NAS-410 (required) and ASTM E1417/E1444
Verified On-the-Job Training (OJT) and classroom hour logs required
Must pass annual Jaeger 1 near-vision and color perception testing

Preferred

Experience with shot peening or surface enhancement processes
Prior experience working in a Nadcap-accredited facility
Familiarity with Digital Radiography (RT) or Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
Experience with Passive 8 and Acid Etch methods
