Magnolia Bakery, a globally recognized brand known for its classic American desserts, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior FP&A Manager to join their Finance team. This role will involve providing financial insights to support the Consumer Packaged Goods and Wholesale teams in executing profitable growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

Develop annual and multi-annual plans, budgets, and forecasts in partnership with business line leaders
Manage the coordination of the monthly close process between business line leaders and the accounting team
Prepare monthly trade accruals and reconciliations
Work with Accounting team to manage and dispute trade and non-trade deductions
Report CPG results by business line, product & channel/customer
Share results with business line leaders, with insights on performance and recommendations to address gaps and opportunities to plan
Present plans, budgets and results to CEO and investor partners
Analyze item consumption trends and insights
Co-develop price pack architecture for CPG items
Evaluate new items, new customers, and promotion opportunities
Work with Supply Chain team to manage inventory stock levels to reduce swell and obsolete spend
Monitor ingredients and packaging costs, identifying opportunities, and partnering to execute cost-saving initiatives
Partner with logistics team to understand and minimize freight and warehousing costs
Provide financial insights based on product-specific and channel/customer-specific sales analysis to inform strategic planning and business growth
Participate in ad-hoc projects

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree required in business, accounting, or a related field
3 + years FP&A experience
Advanced Excel skills
Advanced analytical skills
Knowledge of USGAAP
Experience in CPG
Experience working with and managing UNFI chargebacks and other chargebacks
Experience working with retailer trade spend accruals

Preferred

Experience working with NetSuite
Experience implementing and using an FP&A tool
Experience implementing and using a chargebacks management tool
Experience working in a fast-growing company
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships with staff and partners
Organized with good time management skills
