Responsibilities
Define and drive a clear technical vision for the Product Engineering team, influencing both roadmap execution and broader engineering standards
Partner deeply with Product and Design to translate customer needs into scalable technical solutions
Build, coach, and retain a high-performing engineering team in a collaborative and inclusive environment
Lead delivery of Web, Mobile, and Desktop SDKs, along with dashboard features focused on study creation and management
Balance speed and quality while maintaining a high bar for performance, security, and reliability for enterprise customers
Promote strong ownership across the team, ensuring systems are observable, maintainable, and resilient at scale
Encourage continuous improvement, thoughtful technical tradeoffs, and knowledge sharing across engineering
Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success and Sales to deliver an excellent developer and customer experience
Qualification
Required
8+ years of software engineering experience, with strong expertise in TypeScript, React, and Node.js
2+ years of experience managing and growing frontend, mobile, or full-stack engineering teams
A hands-on leadership style with comfort staying close to the code and guiding architectural decisions
Strong understanding of enterprise requirements including performance, security, and service-level expectations
Ability to clearly communicate across technical and non-technical audiences and drive alignment
A deep care for user experience and a passion for building tools that developers genuinely enjoy using
Preferred
Experience building or supporting Mobile SDKs or developer-facing SDKs is a plus
