Systems Integration Engineer, Senior - ESS – Engineering

They are seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to perform systems engineering and integration for DoD satellite and ground systems, while managing risks and contributing to the overall mission of the company.

Responsibilities
Perform systems engineering or integration in DoD satellite systems or ground systems
Conduct space system and DoD program reviews, including SRR, SDR and SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA, PCA
Perform the risk management process on space-related ground, software, or hardware system Major Defense Acquisition Programs
Identify, analyze, and propose program risks, issues, and opportunities and manage handling plans
Use Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Utilize a Model-Based Systems Engineering or Digital Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines
Communicate effectively, work independently and collaboratively on a cross-functional team, and demonstrate initiative to complete complex tasks to achieve program goals in a fast-paced environment
Qualification
Required
12+ years of experience performing systems engineering or integration in DoD satellite systems or ground systems
5+ years of experience with space system and DoD program reviews, including SRR, SDR and SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA, PCA
2+ years of experience performing the risk management process on space-related ground, software, or hardware system Major Defense Acquisition Programs
Experience identifying, analyzing, and proposing program risks, issues, and opportunities and managing handling plans
Experience using Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Experience using a Model-Based Systems Engineering or Digital Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines
Ability to be highly motivated, display a dynamic work ethic, and contribute to the DoD mission
Ability to effectively communicate, work independently and collaboratively on a cross-functional team, and demonstrate initiative to complete complex tasks to achieve program goals in a fast-paced environment
Active DoD Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
Preferred
2+ years of experience with Military Satellite Communications Mission area
2+ years of experience with space acquisition
Experience with a software program utilizing Agile methodologies
Experience with Confluence or JIRA
Experience working with software factories or DecvSecOps pipelines
Ability to learn and solve problems quickly and creatively
Top Secret clearance
Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
Agile Certification such as CSM, CPO, PMI-ACP, or ICP Certification
INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification
