$135K/yr - $145K/yrLHH is a well-established manufacturing company in Burlington, NJ, seeking a strategic and experienced Assistant Controller. This role will act as a key financial leader, overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and driving process standardization and strategic reporting.

Responsibilities
Serve as the bridge between accounting staff and the Controller, ensuring smooth communication and workflow
Oversee all aspects of General Ledger (GL) accounting , Accounts Payable (AP) , and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Lead and mentor a small accounting team, fostering development and accountability
Manage and streamline the month-end close process and ensure timely financial statement preparation
Prepare and consolidate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
Drive standardization and efficiency in accounting processes, especially post- SAP implementation
Collaborate with leadership on high-level financial strategy and planning
Qualification
Required
Proven management experience leading accounting teams (3–5+ direct reports)
Strong background in manufacturing accounting
Excellent communication skills; able to effectively liaise between staff and executive leadership
Preferred
CPA strongly preferred
