Field Service Technician – Low-Voltage A/V Systems

Quest International Inc. is a company that partners with healthcare, life science, and industrial OEMs to deliver high-reliability aftermarket technical services. They are hiring a Field Service Technician – Low-Voltage A/V Systems to work independently at customer sites, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing low-voltage A/V systems in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair low-voltage A/V systems
Perform on-site diagnostics and FRU-level repairs
Mount displays, speakers, racks, and related A/V hardware
Run, terminate, test, and verify cabling (Cat5/Cat6, HDMI, Coax, USB)
Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service documentation
Conduct site surveys and validate system operation
Communicate clearly with customers regarding service scope and resolution
Document service activity accurately and in compliance with standards
Support system training and basic customer handoff as required
Follow all safety, compliance, and quality procedures

Qualification

Required

Proven experience installing and servicing low-voltage A/V systems
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
Hands-on experience with: Displays, speakers, racks, and related A/V hardware
Signal cabling and termination
Strong customer-facing communication skills
Ability to work independently in the field
Familiarity with safety standards and best practices for low-voltage systems
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb, bend, and work in tight spaces
Valid driver's license

Preferred

Additional A/V field service experience
CCTV or low-voltage systems exposure
Equipment-focused technical certifications
Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments
