Responsibilities
Maintain and analyze cost accounting systems, including standard costing and inventory valuation
Prepare and analyze monthly cost and variance reports (materials, labor, and overhead)
Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Partner with operations and supply chain teams to monitor production costs and identify inefficiencies
Track inventory movements, cycle counts, and investigate variances
Assist with budgeting and forecasting by providing cost-related insights
Perform margin analysis by product line, customer, and business unit
Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal financial policies
Support capital investment analysis and new product introductions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of cost accounting experience
At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory valuation, and variance analysis
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across departments
Preferred
Experience with Microsoft D365 preferred
Exposure to Microsoft BI or similar analytical tools is a plus
CPA or CMA a plus
