Responsibilities
Evaluate prints to select efficient manufacturing methods; estimate run time, processing costs, and lead time
Program CNC machines and verify toolpaths within CAD/CAM applications
Interpret technical drawings and configure machines according to blueprints
Model and adjust cutting paths to optimize productivity without compromising quality
Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues as they arise
Handle required documentation; verify material availability; coordinate orders in the warehouse
Partner with Inside Sales to deliver accurate, timely customer quotes
Qualification
Required
High school diploma
Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfort working cross-functionally with internal teams, vendors, and external partners
Track record of developing and implementing practical technical solutions
Ability to explain technical specifications to non-technical audiences when needed
CNC Programming
OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
CAD software for modeling and toolpath generation
Upon offer of employment, candidates must pass a criminal background check and drug test
Preferred
Associate's degree in drafting or a related field
Approximately 1 year of experience in parts programming or Inside Sales
Demonstrated analytical ability, including interpreting data and applying insights
Strength in organization, critical thinking, problem solving, and teamwork
