Responsibilities
Conduct independent and collaborative research in artificial intelligence with a focus on health and biomedical applications
Collaborate with PI interdisciplinary teams on research proposals and contribute to successful grant applications
Lead AI research projects that result in peer-reviewed publications in top-tier AI conferences and high-impact medical journals
Will present research findings at conferences
Will attend and participate in various team meetings
Mentor graduate students and contribute to lab research activities
Qualification
Required
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Preferred
Strong publication record in top-tier AI conferences or journals
Strong written and oral communication skills
First-author publications at NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, AAAI, KDD, or IJCAI
Experience working with large-scale, noisy, or real-world datasets
Experience with GPU-based training and high-performance computing
Interest in translating methodological contributions into high-impact medical AI venues (e.g., Nature Medicine, Nature Machine Intelligence, npj Digital Medicine)
Expertise in one or more of the following areas: foundation models, multimodal learning, LLMs, AI agents, or trustworthy AI
Proficiency in Python and PyTorch
