Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative will focus on driving new business relationships and increasing client engagement through strategic prospecting and collaboration with sales executives.

Responsibilities
Exercise discretion and independent judgment to create, memorialize, and execute strategy that will directly impact new client growth for deals ranging from $10 million to $1 Billion in annual spend
Develop a prospecting plan for the territory and execute autonomously
Develop account plan strategy to determine the methodology of approach to multiple C-Suite, VP, and Director level stakeholders in order to achieve successful new client acquisition
Demonstrate ability to think on your feet and exercise the utmost discretion and independent judgment in order to achieve successful outcomes
Continuously refine and adjust prospecting plan based on analyzing ratios
Implement new ideas to sales approach and enhance current process to strengthen success rate
Conduct high volume prospecting to qualify leads through calls, emails, and LinkedIn
Clearly articulate our value proposition to prospects
Schedule calls and presentations for our top sales executives and work directly with those leaders to position new business opportunities
Update all activity in the CRM
Report to the Vice President of Business Development on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
Stay current with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
Attend and contribute to weekly sales training
Provide sales team and leadership team with feedback received from prospects
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
Track record of achieving sales quotas
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to deliver engaging sales propositions
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
Preferred
Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus
