Responsibilities
Lead and develop a small team of systems administrators, providing clear direction and mentorship
Own Microsoft 365 architecture, governance, and roadmap
Drive migration and modernization initiatives, including transitions from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365
Lead deployment and optimization of collaboration and communication tools (Teams, Zoom, WebEx, VOIP platforms)
Oversee SharePoint and Teams adoption, documentation modernization, and platform rationalization
Partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders to align technology with business needs
Develop long-term (3–5 year+) workplace technology strategy
Remain hands-on when needed while primarily focusing on leadership and strategy
Qualification
Required
Extensive Microsoft 365 expertise (tenant management, SharePoint, Teams, security, governance)
Proven experience leading and building technical teams with minimal oversight
Hands-on experience deploying unified communications platforms
Successful leadership of Google-to-Microsoft migration projects
Strong strategic thinking, communication, and storytelling skills
Ability to influence change across diverse stakeholder groups
Preferred
Microsoft Defender and Copilot for AI
VOIP platforms (RingCentral or similar)
Airtable, Confluence, Adobe Enterprise, font management
JAMF or Apple device management
Legacy documentation migration to SharePoint
