AmeriTex Pipe & Products is seeking a Billing Clerk who will perform general bookkeeping and data entry while maintaining records and invoices. The role includes tracking customer debts, preparing invoices, and assisting with accounts receivable activities.

Responsibilities

Performs the following AR activities including but not limited to invoicing, issuing credits, debit memos and all other activities related to AR as directed

Issues invoices and other bills to customers through mail, e-mail etc

Prepares all information needed for bill receivable

Assists AR Manager & Lead in reconciling and maintaining the AR subledger

Adheres to departmental and company policies and transacts AR activities accordingly

Assists customers with billing

Answers questions and handles complaints regarding bills from customers

Required

High School Diploma

Extensive knowledge of applicable laws and regulations

Extensive mathematical skills

3+ years of experience in the field

Strong communication and organizational skills; accurate and detail oriented as well as the ability to communicate effectively with staff at various levels

Attention to detail and accuracy a must

Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
