Vice President, Store Operations & Execution
The client is seeking a Vice President, Store Operations & Execution to lead the operational performance and execution across the retail store network. This role is responsible for ensuring in-store execution, operational discipline, and enhancing customer experiences while translating corporate strategy into results.

Responsibilities
Lead enterprise-wide store operations and execution across all retail locations, ensuring consistent adherence to operational, brand, and service standards
Own store-level execution of merchandising, promotions, pricing, visual standards, and customer experience initiatives
Drive operational performance across sales productivity, labor optimization, shrink reduction, expense control, and store profitability
Partner closely with Merchandising, Retail Operations, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of initiatives in-store
Oversee field leadership including regional and district managers, ensuring strong accountability, coaching, and performance management
Establish and monitor store operations KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to drive visibility and continuous improvement
Lead store readiness and execution for new store openings, remodels, seasonal transitions, and major promotional events
Ensure compliance with operational policies, safety standards, loss prevention practices, and regulatory requirements
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, consistency, and scalability across store operations
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing store operations leadership team focused on executional excellence
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Retail Management, or a related field
10+ years of progressive experience in store operations or field leadership roles within retail environments
Proven track record of driving executional excellence across large, multi-unit retail footprints
Strong understanding of store operations KPIs, labor models, and execution processes
Demonstrated ability to lead large, distributed field teams and drive accountability
Excellent communication, leadership, and operational execution skills
Preferred
MBA or other advanced degree
Prior experience in a Vice President or Senior Director–level store operations or field execution role
Experience in omnichannel or high-growth retail environments
Background leading operational transformations or large-scale execution initiatives
Industry experience in specialty retail, big-box retail, or consumer brands
