Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact with full authority over daily program operations
Provide overall management and supervision of personnel, subcontractors, and resources supporting Roads and Grounds services
Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize work, resolve issues, and support mission requirements
Ensure 24/7 emergency response capability and act as the after-hours point of contact when required
Oversee preparation, submission, and execution of all required plans, reports, and deliverables
Monitor performance and ensure quality control, safety, environmental, and security compliance
Lead corrective actions for deficiencies and ensure timely resolution of CARs
Participate in conferences, performance reviews, and required coordination meetings
Qualification
Required
Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently without sponsorship
A High School diploma or equivalent
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in base support management, with direct roads and grounds maintenance experience servicing a municipality or installation
Ability to supervise, resolve conflict, and communicate effectively
Working knowledge of pavement maintenance, grounds operations, snow removal, and heavy equipment usage
Familiarity with safety regulations, environmental compliance, and quality control practices
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both in an office environment and in the field, including all weather conditions
Preferred
Experience supporting U.S. Army, DoD, or federal installations
Knowledge of DPW operations and work order management systems
Budget development and contract oversight experience
Relevant certifications in facilities management, project management, or safety
