Responsibilities

Coordinate and conduct investigations involving loss of company assets using exception reporting, surveillance, and field research

Interview associates as part of investigations; manage follow-up actions including prosecution and restitution when applicable

Partner with Store Operations, Distribution Center Operations, and HR throughout investigations

Investigate and provide remediation support to stores with inventory shrink exceeding 4% of sales

Communicate investigation findings and trends to senior leaders including the VP of Store Operations, Director of Accounting & Loss Prevention, Regional Managers, District Managers, and Store Managers

Utilize exception reporting to identify asset loss risks and non-compliance with company policies

Conduct store and DC audits to ensure adherence to loss prevention standards and operational controls

Ensure stores are properly equipped to protect customers, associates, and assets, with special attention to new and remodeled locations

Maintain strong working relationships with local law enforcement to address market-level concerns

Develop and deliver loss prevention training for stores and districts

Participate in store and district meetings to increase awareness of LP policies, procedures, and best practices

Support employee engagement, accountability, and change management initiatives that reinforce a safe and ethical workplace

Stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices in retail loss prevention
