Responsibilities
Act as a co-partner to the CISO on AI security, risk, and adoption strategy
Work closely with engineering teams to assess and influence AI-enabled architectures, workflows, and tooling
Evaluate AI platforms, agentic IDEs, and vendors with a clear view of data flow, system design, and risk
Help define security approaches in areas where precedent, tooling, or frameworks may not yet exist
Translate complex technical and security considerations into clear guidance for senior leadership
Influence decision-making across engineering, architecture, and business functions through credibility and judgment
Shape guardrails and strategy that enable innovation rather than slow it down
Qualification
Required
A strong background in information security within highly technical environments
Demonstrated experience working hand-in-hand with senior engineers, with the ability to challenge and influence design decisions
Deep understanding of modern AI systems and workflows, beyond surface-level LLM usage
The ability to reason clearly about architecture, data movement, vendor risk, and trade-offs
Proven experience advising C-level and senior business leaders
Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where answers are not pre-defined
Pragmatic, intellectually curious, and able to balance risk with opportunity
