Responsibilities

Responsible for hosting and facilitating design reviews and collaborating with a multi-disciplined team which takes Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) designs from inception to manufacturing
Drive design, procurement and build schedule to meet program need dates
Generate drawing notes and review Technical Data Package (TDP) to ensure adherence to IPC specs
Perform design for manufacturability analyses
BOM (Bill of Material) development and management
Review supplier data and lessons learned in order to ensure product excellence and continual improvement
Travel to visit suppliers
Self-starter that seeks to connect the dots between engineering disciplines and actively reaches out to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major
This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
Experience working on teams or projects with ability to multi-task and establish schedule based on priorities
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. 3.0 cumulative GPA desired
Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T), engineering drafting standards, and overall producibility considerations related to electronic packaging
Familiarity with translating schematic capture into a producible layout
Familiarity with soldering and importance of workmanship
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, specifically PCB and CCA
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
