Responsibilities
Works under supervision with responsibility for project or process within the job area
Communicates with contacts within and outside organization (e.g. customers, suppliers, etc.) for execution of the program objectives
Manages the cost and schedule of their projects to ensure financial well-being of the overall program and division
Works alongside financial team for requirements of financial, manpower, and supply chain forecasting, reporting, and variance justification
Responsible for developing and monitoring/updating program integrated master schedule (IMS) consistent with the program plan
Responsible for briefing customer and management on all facets of assigned projects. Frequent customer and management interaction is routine
Coordinates new business pursuits for development and production activities within the project area working with departments to define all costs associated with future business
Up to 15% business travel to other L3Harris and customer sites
Ability to obtain US Secret Security Clearance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant program management experience, Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related program management experience, or 10 years of prior related program management experience in lieu of a degree
Ability to obtain US Secret Security Clearance
Preferred
Experience with DoD contract execution
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Project, Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
Working knowledge of general production systems/methods and lean manufacturing principles
