Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation using tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, or Smartsheet
Lead cross-functional teams by providing clear direction, motivation, and support throughout the project lifecycle
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into detailed project specifications
Manage project scope changes through structured scope management and negotiation with stakeholders
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies utilizing risk management frameworks such as PMBOK or Waterfall methodology
Monitor project progress using earned value management techniques and adjust plans to stay on track
Oversee vendor relationships and contract negotiations to ensure quality delivery within budget constraints
Utilize Agile frameworks like SAFe or Kanban for iterative development projects when applicable
Facilitate meetings effectively to ensure clear communication among team members and stakeholders
Apply root cause analysis and Lean Six Sigma principles to resolve issues and optimize processes for continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Proven experience supervising complex projects within a structured project management environment
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including PMBOK, Waterfall, Agile, and SAFe
Expertise in program development, program management, and project portfolio management
Skilled in requirements analysis, process mapping, business process modeling, and requirements management tools such as Confluence or SharePoint
Demonstrated ability in change management, conflict resolution, and negotiation techniques
Proficiency with project management software like Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, Primavera P6 or Smartsheet
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and time management
Data analysis skills for effective data collection and reporting to support decision-making processes
Strong communication skills to articulate complex concepts clearly across technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred
Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), or PMI-ACP are highly desirable
