Responsibilities
Identifying, planning, recommending and completing technical programs leading to innovative applications and extensions of existing and new technologies having major importance to division/staff business
Establish extensive intra-divisional interactions and initiate inter-divisional interactions to develop a network of support (technical, manufacturing, engineering, sales and marketing) to facilitate completion of programs
May participate in technical strategic planning
Document experimental data/observations in technical notebooks (or approved electronic files), prepare reports, and make oral presentation
May also be required to provide technical supervision/management of other contingent technical workers
Qualification
Required
Highly skilled and knowledgeable in the position
Ability to provide best practice sharing within work group
Leadership of technical programs of major importance
Involvement in scientific research/understanding, applied technology, and product or process innovations
Ability to maintain a flow of major technical contributions such as material/product/process innovations
Ability to document and communicate contributions via Records of Invention, patents, internal reports, technical presentations and/or publications
Identifying, planning, recommending and completing technical programs
Establishing extensive intra-divisional interactions and initiating inter-divisional interactions
Developing a network of support (technical, manufacturing, engineering, sales and marketing)
Documenting experimental data/observations in technical notebooks (or approved electronic files)
