Responsibilities
Evaluating, maintaining, and cleaning refrigeration hardware components (i.e., doors, hardware, fixtures)
Responding to work requests from retail operations to evaluate and repair refrigeration hardware components (i.e., doors, hardware, fixtures)
Performing housekeeping duties such as maintaining accurate parts inventory
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or its equivalent
1 year working in skilled trades service or construction disciplines OR 2 years in Publix Retail or Operations experience
must be at least 20 years old and have a valid driver license
ability to lift/lower/climb ladders/walk on roofs
basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, on call rotations and travel with overnight stays
Preferred
Some HVAC School/trade school coursework
3 years working in refrigeration in either service or construction disciplines
