Responsibilities

Perform routine analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and final products
Conduct quantitative and qualitative laboratory tests independently as assigned
Monitor and verify laboratory instrumentation performance
Run calibration checks, preventive maintenance, and simple repairs on analytical equipment
Document test results accurately in databases and laboratory records
Communicate test results to internal customers and relevant teams
Maintain and update customer specification documentation
Ensure compliance with food/feed safety, quality, and regulatory programs
Monitor adherence to laboratory procedures and regulatory requirements
Support more complex trials and experiments under intermediate supervision
Handle routine clerical, administrative, and technical support tasks
Escalate non-routine or complex issues to appropriate personnel
Collaborate cross-functionally to promote food safety, quality, and regulatory culture
Read, interpret, and follow safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Prepare routine reports and written correspondence

Required

Ability to perform routine laboratory and analytical testing
Understanding of basic laboratory instrumentation and calibration practices
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Ability to interpret test results and follow standard procedures
Basic troubleshooting and equipment maintenance skills
Ability to read and understand safety rules, SOPs, and manuals
Basic written communication skills for reports and records
Ability to work independently on routine tasks under supervision

Preferred

Experience in food safety, quality, or regulatory laboratory environments
Familiarity with food/feed safety compliance programs
Experience working with laboratory databases or LIMS systems
