Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) is a multi-program laboratory applying state of the art science to solve complex technical problems. The Corrosion Science Undergraduate Intern will assist in the preparation and analysis of simulated waste matrices and contribute to corrosion projects aimed at mitigating integrity threats to Aboveground Storage Tanks and extracting critical minerals from electronic waste.

Have educational or research laboratory experience

Develop partnerships with internal team members of different backgrounds

Effectively communicate (verbal & written) technical results

Understand their own job and how the role interacts with their team

Gain support for ideas within the team

Work safely with particular attention to quality. Comply with all policies and standards

Required

HS (or Equiv) + 1 or more yrs of university education

Be pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related field

Must be a U.S. Citizen
