Responsibilities
Build and operate inference and API serving infrastructure at scale
Design scalable systems to ingest, process, and retrieve data from the web, files, and other sources
Build systems that run AI agents, generate synthetic data, and evaluate outputs
Implement embeddings, indexing, and retrieval systems
Develop internal services and tooling to improve scalability, reliability, and developer velocity
Create and maintain large-scale crawling and scraping systems for visual and textual data
Build internal tools for operations teams managing data creation projects
Build external expert-facing products for annotation, contribution, and review
Help design and implement early gamification features such as quizzes, taste games, reward flows, and leaderboards
Collaborate closely with researchers and creative experts to scope and ship features
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with Python in production environments
Familiarity with AI- or LLM-powered systems, embeddings, and vector indexes
Experience building or maintaining CI/CD systems and developer tooling
Experience with web scraping, data extraction, and large-scale processing
Strong background in cloud infrastructure, systems design, and automation
Comfort owning systems end to end in an early-stage, ambiguous environment
