Responsibilities
Develop and implement cloud security architectures and solutions
Ensure cloud security solutions are scalable, resilient, and aligned with business and technical requirements
Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks associated with cloud infrastructure and applications
Implement robust security controls and practices to protect cloud environments
Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations, standards, and internal policies
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure adherence to security best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, DevOps, and business units, to ensure alignment and integration of cloud security practices
Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on cloud security-related matters
Develop and implement incident response plans for cloud security incidents
Lead and coordinate response efforts to mitigate the impact of security incidents
Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in cloud security
Continuously evaluate and enhance cloud security solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Adopt and promote engineering excellence through consistent application of industry standards
Monitor the performance of cloud security measures and controls
Develop and present regular reports on cloud security posture, risks, and improvement opportunities to senior leadership
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in cloud security engineering; OR in lieu of a degree, 7+ years of experience in cloud security engineering
Proven experience as a Cloud Security Engineer or similar role, with a focus on cloud security
Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, architectures, and best practices
Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, encryption, IAM)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
