Responsibilities
Assist families in securing services by verifying insurance benefits, gathering intake documentation, and submitting authorizations
Function as a liaison between staff and families, ensuring paperwork is current and authorizations are renewed on time
Provide excellent customer service, helping clients navigate the process with confidence and clarity
Maintain compliance with insurance requirements, ensuring accurate submissions and renewals
Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and insurance companies to ensure optimum services
Offer administrative support to team members as needed to keep operations running smoothly
Qualification
Required
HS Graduate/GED
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
3 years of insurance verification in medical field
Experience building and retaining rapport with patients over the phone
Preferred
Prior experience working as an ABA Intake Specialist is highly preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
