The role involves verifying material receipts, performing quality inspections, and ensuring the powder coating equipment functions properly.

Responsibilities
Verify the inbound receipt of material and supplies, against shipment packing lists or purchase orders, notating any deviation in count or type of item delivered including any observed shipment damage
Perform pre-coat quality inspection ensuring items are free of machine markings and meet surface preparation expectations
Remedy any machine markings or surface deviations by using hand or machine sanding techniques as required and dust removal practices
Follow instructions on the pre-coat startup check list to ensure the powder coating equipment is functioning as expected
