Business Analyst - background of Agriculture, Life Sciences or Biotechnology domain
Biztec Global is seeking a Business Analyst with a background in Agriculture, Life Sciences, or Biotechnology. The role involves conducting requirements elicitation, maintaining product documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of quality products while working closely with stakeholders and development teams.
Responsibilities
Conduct requirements elicitation, author detailed product requirements and design definition and develop use case documentation
Work with product owner, product managers, stakeholders and scrum team members to collaboratively define end-to-end business process flows; enable the team to develop/ enhance applications
Maintain updated product and system documentation as changes are made along the development cycle. Review and ensure robust test scenarios and cases
Functional testing, integration testing and validation of business requirements and system functionality
Ensure that all required metrics are collected in time and are of good quality. Implement agile development practices
Report the status of projects and assignments including the risks and mitigation plans to the stakeholders regularly and in a timely manner
Ensure clear understanding of the specifications by developers and testing teams and provide the support required for these teams to ensure timely delivery in good quality
Work with stakeholders to define MVP(minimally viable product), provide regular feedback on products and processes to stakeholders
Assist the Product Owner/ stakeholders in articulating the product roadmap to internal stake-holders. Act as proxy Product Owner for team by prioritizing backlog
Participate in the release planning and scoping processes that determine the product roadmap
Qualification

8 years work experience with domain knowledge/ background of Agriculture, Life Sciences or Biotechnology domain
Assist the Product Owner/ stakeholders in articulating the product roadmap to internal stake-holders
Act as proxy Product Owner for team by prioritizing backlog
Participate in the release planning and scoping processes that determine the product roadmap
Working knowledge of SQL, software development life cycle, Conflict management, Negotiation
Working knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS project, MS office suite
Preferred
Knowledge/ practice of IIBA- CBAP / PMI-PBI
