Responsibilities
Prepare news (media) releases under the communications manager's supervision
Provide support to the manager and communications specialists in the areas of writing, proofing, and editing documents
Provide support to the manager and specialists with website maintenance, social media, and video/photography
Assist the Special Events Coordinator as needed
Assist communications secretaries with clerical duties and functions
Attend weekend and night functions as needed
Qualification
Required
Candidate must be currently enrolled as a college student
Majoring in communications, journalism, or related field
Excellent writing, proofing, and editing skills required
Social media knowledge and skills required
Preferred
Experience in website content management
Graphic design skills
Working knowledge of MS Office and desktop publishing using Adobe software
Digital photography skills
