Responsibilities
Load and analyze raw financial data within existing models to assist in transaction evaluations
Make initial assumptions and prepare preliminary analyses for review by senior staff
Conduct thorough self-reviews to ensure accuracy and identify major errors before submission
Support multiple project teams within a pooled analyst model structure, working closely with associates and VPs
Prepare findings for presentations and assist in due diligence processes
Qualification
Required
Expert-level proficiency in Excel, including advanced modeling and data manipulation
Strong mental math skills and the ability to perform analysis accurately under pressure
Effective written and verbal communication skills suitable for professional corporate environments
Experience with data room management and document organization
Undergraduate GPA of 3.5 or higher
Demonstrated ability to review and manipulate financial models quickly and accurately
Candidates should pass technical screening assessments including Excel modeling and mental math tests
Preferred
Previous experience in investment banking, lending, or data analytics
Exposure to high transaction volumes, ideally handling 1+ deals per month
Additional financial certifications or advanced coursework related to investment analysis
Approximately 2 years of post-graduation experience, preferably in investment banking, lending, or data analytics
Avoid candidates with solely accounting backgrounds lacking an investment-oriented mindset
