Warehouse Manager

Connect Housing Blocks is building the future of modular construction in Columbus. They are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations that support the manufacturing floor, focusing on inventory accuracy and material accountability.

Construction

Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse operations supporting the production floor, including material storage, staging, and internal distribution
Maintain accurate inventory logs and ensure real-time visibility of materials on hand and issued
Manage inventory cages and control the distribution of materials to production associates
Ensure all materials assigned to production are properly documented, tracked, and reconciled
Hold inventory and warehouse associates accountable for accuracy, process adherence, and performance
Verify inventory counts, material usage, and data accuracy to prevent shortages or production delays
Establish and enforce accountability for damaged, missing, or improperly handled materials
Conduct routine physical inventory counts and reconciliations
Ensure unused or excess materials are returned, labeled, and stored correctly
Identify inventory risks and communicate shortages or discrepancies to Operations leadership
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Collaborate closely with Production and Operations teams to align priorities

Required

5+ years of warehouse or inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment
Prior experience supervising or leading hourly associates
Strong experience supporting a production floor
Experience with ERP systems and warehouse or logistics management software (WMS/TMS)
Strong working knowledge of inventory tracking, material issuance, and cycle counting
Proficiency with data entry, reporting, and basic inventory math
Strong accountability and ownership mindset
High attention to detail and data accuracy
Effective leadership and associate management
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift materials throughout the shift
Regularly lift up to 30 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
