The Electrical Quality Control Manager will oversee quality supervision during design, procurement, fabrication, and testing activities, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and leading quality initiatives within the manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

Harmonize and improve wiring manufacturing processes across all production facilities

Work closely with electrical design engineering teams to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability

Coordinate pilot programs to test new manufacturing processes, equipment, or technologies, then drive adoption of successful initiatives

Provide technical guidance, support, and quality assurance oversight for the Electrical Manufacturing team

Collaborate with operations and manufacturing teams to identify bottlenecks, implement process improvements, and align engineering and manufacturing goals

Offer hands-on technical support to production teams to quickly resolve issues and minimize downtime

Regularly inspect equipment and processes on the factory floor, following up as needed

Develop and maintain manufacturing guidelines for electrical processes

Partner with cross-functional teams including quality assurance, new product development, and R&D to ensure smooth integration of design and manufacturing

Conduct root cause investigations and aid quality teams

Track and report on key performance metrics related to process improvements, production efficiency, and design accuracy

Investigate customer complaints regarding quality and make appropriate corrections

Develop, improve, and review new specifications and procedures for products or processes, along with training staff

Ensuring legal obligations are followed and ensuring compliance with regulatory, with health and safety guidelines

Overseeing product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards

Inspecting final output, compare to requirements, and approve or reject final products

Formulate and maintain quality control objectives and coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other managers to maximize quality and reliability and to minimize costs

Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring work activities, such as preparation of records of statistical analysis, progress reports, etc., to inform management of status or work activities

Trains staff, evaluates employee performance, and recommends promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action

Interprets/enforces company Quality Policy, process, and procedures to employees
