D365 F&O Business Analyst
Thomas Edwards Group Inc. is assisting in the search for a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Business Analyst to support and optimize their enterprise ERP environment. The role requires a hands-on functional Business Analyst to ensure efficiency in daily operations while collaborating with various stakeholders and managing system functionalities.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary functional SME for D365 F&O Finance modules, including:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Cash & Bank Management
Fixed Assets
Configure and enhance D365 F&O functionality to support business and financial processes
Partner with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and drive system improvements
Translate business needs into clear, actionable functional specifications
Support and analyze business processes across Finance and other D365 F&O functional areas, including Supply Chain and Manufacturing
Manage and resolve day-to-day system issues, enhancements, and support requests
Develop and maintain system documentation, business process flows, and end-user training materials
Collaborate with internal IT teams and external partners on integrations and new functionality
Perform data analysis and reporting to support decision-making and continuous improvement
Provide training and ongoing support to end users to ensure effective system adoption
Leverage modern productivity tools, including AI solutions (e.g., ChatGPT), to accelerate research, documentation, and problem-solving
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
3–6 years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and/or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
Strong functional expertise and configuration experience within D365 F&O Finance modules
Proven ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
Comfortable working in an onsite environment with cross-functional teams
Preferred
Experience supporting additional functional areas such as Supply Chain or Manufacturing is a plus
