Mercy is a healthcare organization seeking a Senior Content Specialist to lead the creation of branded and compelling content for their various communication needs. The role involves developing and managing internal and external communications to ensure consistent messaging and tone.

Responsibilities
The Senior Content Specialist takes a lead role in creating branded, informative and compelling content for Mercy’s online and offline needs, including print, broadcast, collateral materials, websites and other messaging initiatives
This position requires writing, planning and creative skills to develop, produce and manage Mercy internal and external communications with consistent messaging and tone of voice
This person will perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission, vision and values
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in communications, English, journalism or similar field
8+ years of copywriting experience
Experience working with a master brand and a portfolio of work that reflects it
Excellent written communications skills
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to juggle multiple priorities
Knowledge of online content creation
Experience with online newsletter development and editing
HTML-based communication experience
Computer literacy with intermediate skills in Word processing (Microsoft Word)
Passion for creative work
High energy and ability to work independently as a self-starter when necessary
Ability to work well on a team
Creativity, flexibility and dependability
High degree of integrity and moral character
